Newsletter Input Due - If you have ministry articles, servant schedules, testimonies, inspirational stories, or anything you think of interest, please submit to the office by Tuesday, August 26th.

Food Pantry - Sunday, September 7th, is food pantry Sunday. Please put your donations in the blue bucket by the Information table.

Sunday School Kick-off - On Sunday, September 7th, we will have Sunday School for all ages! Begins at 9:15am SHARP!

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Annual Meeting - LSS of Central Ohio invites us to be part of the 2008 Annual Meeting at The Church at Mill Run on Sunday, September 14, 2008. The night begins with a Buffet at 5:00pm, then the annual meeting at 6:15pm, then international speaker, Tony Campolo, will speak on being called to serve those in need at 7:00pm. If you want to see Tony Campolo, tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Tickets are required for admission. If you wish to attend, please email or call the office, we have the required forms.

Women’s Group Meeting - The next meeting is Thursday, August 14th at 7:00pm at the office. We will be planning for this years’ ministries, outreach and fellowship events. Childcare will be provided.

Camp Fire - Thursday, August 14th at the Burke’s house for this year’s 5th & 6th Graders. You won’t want to miss this evening of food, songs, stories, games, and FUN!

Elementary Family Cookout - Sunday, August 17th from 4:30-6:30pm. Come and meet with the Elementary Youth Group Leadership Team to discuss the exciting new event coming for your child this fall!!!

Outdoor Worship - Sunday, August 24, at the Pavilion outside Scottish Corners. Invite your friends and family to worship God outside.

Announcements

VBS 2008 - Power Lab. . . Discovering Jesus' miraculous power!

- There are still volunteer positions that need to be filled (adults and teens). Contact Laura Zeid to help out.

- This Sunday, remember to take post-it notes from the donation board. We'll need to have all donated items by Sunday, July 20th.

- Then grab some invitations to give to friends and neighbors.

- All Participants must register on-line. Click on the 'Register for VBS' link on our home page.

Adult Sunday School - In August, Deb Bailey will be leading us in a book study of Lord Foulgrin’s Letters by Randy Alcorn.

LSS Day with the Clippers - Saturday, July 12. Gates open at 5:00, musical performances by local Praise Teams, Raffle Drawing! Admission is $3.00, but only tickets sold in advance benefit LSS programs and services. Please contact Sandy (sandy@alleluia33.org) for tickets.

June Announcements

WOW Bible Study - This summer we will reading the book Naked Fruit by Elisa Morgan. This is about seeing the fruits of the spirit in yourself and people around you. We will begin the new book on Monday, June 16. Please let Laura Zeid know if you would like to order a book ($10.00).

Men’s Ministry Meeting - The next meeting will be Saturday, June 14, from 8:00-9:30 am at the office.

Women’s Group Meeting - The next meeting is Thursday, June 12th at 7:00pm at the office.

Father’s Day Breakfast - Before worship at 9:15am on Sunday, June 15, 2008, the Alleluia! Women’s Group is hosting a Father’s Day Breakfast. The Women of Alleluia! will provide our best pot-luck dishes and all the extras. Bring your favorite Dad to breakfast! Contact Laura Zeid if you want to help out.

Son Celebration - Starting June 8th we will begin our Summer Sunday school for children and youth. Son Celebration will start in the gym each week and begin with a Bible point and then be full of games and free gym/outside play time until the service. We are going to play GOOFY BALL (kick ball with a twist = a great KICK off!)! Son Celebration is from 9:15am-10:15am just like Sunday's COOL!

Announcements for May

Plain City Elementary Book Drive

During the month of May, we will be holding a book drive for the children of Plain City Elementary School. As in the past with Reeb, we will be collecting new and very gently used books so the children most in need will have something to read over the summer. Please bring in books suitable for grades K-5. You can place your books in the marked bin at the reception table throughout the month.

Ladies Luncheon

On May 17th at 11:00am, we will meet at Le Chatelaine French Bistro at 65 W. Bridge St. If it’s a nice day, we can sit out on the patio. Lunch menu items average $10.00. Look for the sign-up.

Leadership Dublin Community Service Day - Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3rd. This year we will be helping/working at Scottish Corners. There is a sign-up on the information table.
